So, what have I done in the last two weeks … Answer? SOMETHING.

Basically, I’ve been neeting with my mentor once a week and I have now planned out all my characters an done some rough sketches for my first comic.

What else… Uhh, when I have the time, I’ll post my character sketches (don’t judge TOO harshly, please) and you can stay updated on my comic be following the site!

I’m more focussed on my LOTR comic, so don’t count so carefully on the other one.

So far I’ve been learning about making shapes more 3-D and how to do art on actual REAL MANGA PAGES. (now is when you gasp)

My mentor, Kenten, has helped show me different aspects of (mostly manga) art. He talks about a lot of different things, but you can tell his passion is in Manga and drawing/cartooning. I think because of him, I’m drawing my characters more manga-y.

In short, I’m almost done some character sketches of Sam, Frodo, Gandalf and Aragorn and I’m starting on my actual first comic. YAYAY.
